Question
Why is the HOA no longer enforcing on-street parking as well as RVs, boats and trailers?
Answer
Unfortunately, there has been a recent change in the law regarding the enforcement of public streets, which took effect in August 2022. As a result, your HOA is no longer able to enforce this provision.
To address any street violations, you will now need to report them to your local law enforcement and/or municipal code enforcement dept (i.e. town or city). They have the authority to handle these matters and ensure that everything is in order. Additionally, municipalities have specific ordinances in place regarding trailer/RV parking, so they will be able to assist you with any concerns in that area as well.
