Introduction
If you need a copy of the HOA Insurance policy or HOA Master Policy, please note that the HOA is not able to provide it directly. A formal records request is required for this type of request. This article explains how to submit your request and what to expect during the process.
How the request process works
Once a formal records request is received, the HOA must submit it to the HOA Insurance carrier. The carrier requires documentation of each individual request before releasing the policy information. Because of this additional processing step, the request may take longer than the standard 10-day records request fulfillment window.
How to submit your request
- Download and complete the attached records request form.
- Submit the completed form to M&M Property Management using the instructions provided on the form.
- M&M Property Management will promptly forward your request to the HOA Insurance carrier for processing.
- Wait for the carrier to process the request and provide the policy copy, if available.
Important notes
- This process is for requesting a copy of the HOA Insurance policy or HOA Master Policy — not a certificate of insurance.
- The HOA must document each individual request before the carrier can respond.
- Processing may take longer than the standard 10-day records request timeline.
