Under Colorado HB22-1314, passed by the Colorado General Assembly in 2022, HOAs and towing carriers are prohibited from towing or citing vehicles solely because they have expired registration tags or missing license plates. This law supersedes any HOA rules, policies, or governing documents that may have previously allowed enforcement of this provision.

When submitting a report, please include as much of the following information as possible:
- Vehicle make
- Vehicle model
- Vehicle color
- License plate number, if visible
- Vehicle VIN number
There are also public websites that can be used to check whether a vehicle has been reported stolen. If you would like, the management company is happy to perform that search on your behalf and alert the appropriate authorities if needed.
